This acquisition enables Euroma to accelerate its ambitions and strengthen a leading position in Europe.

As part of this growth strategy, Euroma is expanding its commercial team and is looking for a Key Account Manager Snacks. In this position, you are responsible for expanding the customer portfolio in the chips, shot nuts and finger foods segment. You will work closely with leading food producers and guide them – from idea to introduction – in developing innovative flavor solutions. In addition to the responsibility for key accounts, you will also develop the strategic business plan for the entire snack segment within Europe.

The Key Account Manager Snacks is part of the Batters & Seasonings sales team and reports to the team leader. You work closely with R&D and Sales Support, among others, and play a key role in achieving commercial growth within an important segment for Euroma.

The position is based in Zwolle, with international scope and hybrid work opportunities.

JOB PROFILE

Job Responsibilities:

  • To achieve revenue growth from the sale of seasonings to manufacturers of potato chips and cocktail nuts to existing and especially new customers in Europe;
  • Developing and realizing the business plan of the Snacks market segment;
  • Providing the annual input to the sales budget and to input sales forecasts.

Main Activities:

  • Relationship management and development, focused on the customers purchasing, production, quality and product development departments;
  • Through acquisition convert prospects to customer status and conduct and complete negotiations with (potential) buyers;
  • Functionally manage, mentor, motivate and coach the account managers in terms of acquisition, expert role and ownership in the Snacks market segment.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience:

  • College educated with additional courses in marketing, sales and/or business management;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant sales and/or business development experience and network in snack segment of European food industry (Roger & Roger, Mondelez, Pepsico, Intersnack, Kolec, Orkla, Kellogs, et cetera;
  • Proven track record in value added selling techniques and affinity for innovation processes at large food manufacturers.

Required candidate competencies:

  • A driven personality with a results-oriented hands-on mentality;
  • A good listener, who knows how to win people over and a professional relationship builder, with an eye and ear for detail;
  • And someone with a sense of humor, who enjoys coaching clients and colleagues and uses his/her network to build lasting business relationships.
